A Little History About FWDG

FWDG was founded in 1972, by then 20 year-old Larry Mark and his Father, Ernest. The Mark Family dates back to 1904 in the Beaufort area and is proud of the legacy created by 3 generations.

FWDG has been serving furniture needs throughout the Lowcountry area, including Beaufort, Bluffton, Hardeeville, Hilton Head, Okatie, Ridgeland, Seabrook, Walterboro and Charleston.

FWDG has become a source of quality home furnishings for the Coastal Empire of Georgia, including Savannah, Rincon, Port Wentworth, Pooler and the

In early 2014,  Kathy Henry, owner of Lee's Flooring and long-time tenant of Perimeter Walk decided to close her flooring store and retire. This created an opportunity for FWDG to open a rug store. The store, RUGS!  offers hundreds of rugs at  wonderful FWDG pricing.  

RUGS! has grown to over 3000 square feet and continued to grow with many new vendors.

FWDG carries Serta, Mattress First, Restonic, and Tempurpedic mattresses and foundation sets in a full range of sizes. We also carry bed frames, adjustable bases, and - of course - bedroom suits to complement your new purchase. Ask about Support Report technology, which assists you in finding the perfect mattress for your body type and sleep style.
